Tell us what your priorities would be if elected

Our profession serves an important role in both our local communities as well as statewide. The first priority would be to continue efforts to get that message out. Our association also needs to closely monitor legislative issues that may produce changes for us at both the state and federal level.

I am a believer in success in numbers and have enjoyed my time serving on the MRPA Board over the last couple years. MRPA brings a great support network to our field - one of the best ways for each department and staff person to have resources at their fingertips.

I want to be part of helping other departments succeed and I am always looking to find out how to better provide services and programs to the community of which I am employed.

I would like to assist in promoting educational and networking opportunities for our peers, colleagues, and co-workers. Tell us why you want to serve on the Board of Directors

I'd like to get on the board to help shape the future direction of the organization.

Tell us what your priorities would be if elected

I would work to create a regional organization for the Central Maine portion of the state. There are about 20 communities in the Central Maine belt of the state that would benefit greatly from working together. Forming this physically closer regional group would help in many ways like unifying sports rules and play or bringing training days closer.

I have recently started working with the MRPA Conference committee to plan and organize that event.
